February will be a hot one at Burns & Co’s Muscle, Classic & Collectable Car & Motorcycle Auction!
With summer in full swing, Burns & Co Auctions are preparing for their second big auction of 2026. The February auction brings together a carefully curated selection of vehicles, reflecting Burns & Co’s expertise and specialisation at selling Aussie muscle, classic cars and motorcycles, with
continued momentum and strong interest across the collector market.
This two-night auction runs on 16 and 17 February, with pre-bidding now open, so jump online to secure an awesome collectable vehicle for 2026.

Night 1, on Monday, 16 February, will see the first lot go under the hammer at the bidder friendly time of 6:00pm AEDT. Night 2, on Tuesday, 17 February, also kicks off from 6:00pm AEDT.
As always with these auctions, you can bid online, via phone, with absentee bidding forms, or in person at Burns & Co’s auction rooms - 4 Market Drive, Bayswater, 3153 – each night.
NOTE: There is no in-person bidding at Burns & Co’s Newcastle/Central Coast premises.
The February catalogue features an impressive lineup of hot Holdens, starting with a genuine 1981 HDT VC Brock Commodore (build #464) in Firethorn Red with a Carmine Red interior that has the correct 5.0-litre V8 and TH350 automatic. Other desirable Holdens on offer include a 1973 HQ GTS 350 tribute coupe, two 1976 LX Torana SLR 5000 tribute sedans (one with a 355 stroker), 1984 HDT VK Calais Director (build #1794), 1971 LC Torana SL 138 manual sedan, 1993 VR Commodore 5.0 V8 auto ute, 1997 VS Commodore Executive II V6 auto, 1966 HR Special 186 auto sedan and a 1949 48-215 sedan.
More modern GM-H offerings including a 2004 CV8 Monaro with a twin-turbo LS1 upgrade, a 2002 Monaro CV8 with an LS2 V8 and manual, 2011 VE SSV Redline manual wagon, 2015 Commodore SSV V8 auto sedan (unreserved), and a 2013 HSV Gen-F Senator Signature (build #97).
Ford enthusiasts will also find plenty to explore, with highlights including a 1970 XW Falcon GT 351 auto tribute, a stunning, fully-restored 1978 XC Falcon Sundowner in Pine n Lime with a 302 V8, 1935 Ford roadster with a flathead V8 and manual trans, plus a 1990 EA Falcon sedan with SVO upgrades and a 1990 Brock LTD premium sedan (build #9), both of which are being offered unreserved.
There’s another Brock Ford, in the form of a EA Fairmont Ghia ‘B8’ (build #96) in this auction, plus a 1964 1/2 Mustang V8 manual coupe, 1966 Mustang GT 350 R replica fastback, 2016 Falcon XR6 Sprint (build #162 of 500), and a 1963 Cortina Mk1 440 that’s set up for tarmac rallying.
Other collectable cars include a restomod 1967 VC Valiant sedan with a NASCAR twin turbo 358ci V8. A ground-up build that’s stunning inside and out, this Valiant was a Street Machine feature car and trophy winner at Meguiar’s MotorEx in 2019. Another slick Valiant in this auction is a restored 1976 VK Charger 770. Fitted with a modified 360 V8 and three-speed automatic, this Charger is finished in stunning silver with subtle GT stripes and Simmons alloys.
If your taste swings towards British and European cars, there’s a 1989 Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2lt manual coupe, 1986 Mercedes-Benz 560 SEL 5.6 V8 sedan, 1974 Mercedes-Benz 280CE coupe (unreserved), 2000 BMW 535i V8 sedan (unreserved), 1977 MG B manual roadster and a 1952 MG TC roadster.
American classics include a 1970 Buick Electra 455 auto sedan, 1966 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham V8 auto (unreserved), 1951 Pontiac Chieftain sedan with an engineered 308 V8, 1989 Chevrolet C4 Corvette convertible and a 1963 Mercury Montclair V8 auto sedan (unreserved).
Finally, there’s two classic Japanese four-wheel drives in the form of a 1979 Toyota FJ40 LandCruiser wagon with a 4.2lt petrol six and four-speed manual, and a 1982 Nissan GQ Patrol SWB with the 2.8lt petrol six and four-speed manual.
