Brock’s Holden Dealer Team 1984 HDT ‘Big Banger’ VK Commodore is no doubt one of the stand-out cars on offer from his illustrious Bathurst career. Along with the 1982/1983 Bathurst-Winning HDT VH Commodore SS which Peter Brock achieved something special at Bathurst in that no other car had done - this particular HDT VH Commodore SS wrote its place in Bathurst history as the first car to win the race twice, taking honours in both the 1982 and 1983 James Hardie 1000s. Lloyds Auctions are offering The Brock Collection for auction with bids starting online at one dollar with the hammer down sale scheduled to commence on Bathurst race weekend, Saturday night 6th October.
With such an iconic gathering of cars the interest will be huge with thousands of people expected to pass through the doors on auction day for what could possibly be the very last time these cars will be seen together in one place as a complete set.
