The Burnout Masters Series' coming to TV
The Burnout Masters Series is the creation of the team behind Summernats, Canberra's annual festival of all things automotive and horsepower-related, and comes on the back of the Summernats TV special, which was watched by over 1 million viewers.
The Burnout Masters Series consists of 4 qualifier rounds and 5 wildcard events where the best burnout drivers in Australia battle it out for the right to compete in the Liqui-Moly Burnout Masters at Summernats 28 (2015).
Featuring events from all over Australia, the Burnout Masters Series is a truly national competition. All of the Qualifier events will be broadcast in the first year.
The top 3 cars from each qualifier round automatically qualify for the Liqui-Moly Burnout Masters at the Summernats. One car from each wildcard event is also selected for the Liqui-Moly Burnout Masters.
