Ford 1969 Mustang Boss 429 replica. Where do you start with this one. The motor is a John Kaase Boss nine 600 cubic inch monster build by my Dad Charlie Di Filippo. It makes around 800 plus HP with equal torque. The gear box is a C6 built by Paul Rodgers. The car is almost full custom. We have hand made most things on the car. From fabricating the 9'' diff and custom alloy fuel tank, and extending the factory front chassis rails to the rear for extra strength. Also cutting the front off the car off bare the factory front rails, and rebuilding the whole front end. It was a large job and the photos will not do it justice. We built a 1 7/8'' primary 4 into 1 headers, with a dual 3'' system full 409 stainless steel. Regarding the panel and paint the only thing left on the car was the roof, every other panel was replaces with new ones including the quarters, doors and guards. There front guards and welded to the front top rails with no bolts, the hole front end we went for the flat wall look.. The trim and gauges are all new with new wiring harness. There was no budget for this build. The carbon fiber bonnet scoop and front and rear wing and quarter air vents are proper vacuumed bagged carbon. We put a mustang-2 front end in it. It runs an electric brake set up, as there is not much vacuum from the motor. Plus it's fully engineered.
