This Monaro is something a bit different, a rare car but very similar to the local HSV GTO. The Vauxhall Monaro VXR (sold in the UK) and the HSV GTO (sold in Australia) are fundamentally the same vehicle. The Monaro VXR is essentially an export-market, UK-badged version of the high-performance Holden Special Vehicles (HSV) Coupe GTO, tuned and modified to meet British specifications and regulations. I bought and drove this car in the UK and brought it back to Australia in 2023. It comes with a service History and some nice upgrades - Wortec full exhaust system and air intake and remap, circa 450bhp, pedders suspension, LS7 Clutch and a ripshifter 6.0 litre engine, 6 speed manual gearbox. The manual transmission with the 6.0 litre V8 gives you a fun and active connection to the road and the full enjoyment of this muscle sports car.
