1930 Austin Seven review
Thanks largely to its combination of affordability and 'real' car features, the Austin Seven was a huge hit from its 1922 introduction - becoming the UK's equivalent of the VW Beetle and Model T Ford in providing "motoring for the millions". Production increased year on year to meet demand, and despite the onset of the Great Depression, Sevens continued to sell well in 1930, with production only decreasing by ten percent from 1929's total.
